We treat patients with a wide variety of complaints including medical and surgical emergencies, patients who have suffered injuries, pregnant patients and patients with mental health problems.

We see approximately 55,000 patients per year, including both adults and children aged 14 and older.

Our emergency department also takes referrals of critically ill and injured patients from other emergency departments in South East Ireland.
